How to Succeed With an Internet Business

How to Succeed With an Internet Business
Copyright 2006 Timothy Rohrer

When it comes to starting an internet business many people
believe that it can create instant wealth overnight. In
most cases this is not true, but there are people that have
created loads of cash from a simple home business over the
course of a few months. It's not always obvious how to go
about starting a home business and a lot of people can't
quite grasp exactly how to be successful online. Sure it
can be done and many people still do it, but each and every
single person who has created wealth online needed some
type of blueprint to follow.

The simplest way to get started is learning from those who
are already succeeding in the online world. Starting a
home business is not something that happens overnight. A
home based business is built overtime with consistency and
coupled with failures along the way.

To understand how one can make money online, we have to
first look at the different types of ways to generate
income using the internet. Generally speaking there are
two types of ways to make money online and that is through
investing, trading, or selling. It doesn't matter which
one you chose, just as long as you follow through with your
initial plan. All three ways can be lucrative with the
proper tools.

Investing typically involves putting money into a company
and receiving a return on your initial investment. Many
people invest through HYIP programs and auto surf programs.
Though HYIP's and auto surf programs do work, they usually
only work for a very short period of time. Investing into
HYIP's and auto surf programs requires a get in and get out
strategy. Most HYIP's and auto surf programs are located
offshore to avoid any US government involvement.

Trading online can range from anything to stock trading,
e-currency trading to Forex trading. Though there is a bit
of risk involved, the most secure type of trading is
e-currency trading. E-currency trading has been growing
rapidly with more and more people buying products online.
Since an online transaction is not completed in the form of
hard cash, we use services such as paypal, e-gold, or
e-buillion. In order for these transactions to take place,
there has to be an exchanger on the other side of the
transaction that converts the money from hard cash to an
e-currency. The exchanger receives a fee from the buyer
for completing the transaction. This can be extremely
lucrative if done properly.

Lastly selling affiliate products is another way to
generate income online. Selling products online is
becoming more and more competitive each and everyday.
Typically an affiliate business involves selling a bunch of
other people's products and receiving a commission on each
product sold. Setting up an affiliate business requires a
good amount of advertising and a follow up system.

It is possible to make money from all three ways discussed
and all three lead to the same place and that's making
money. The key is to find someone that's already
succeeding and learn from them. Pick their brains, join
their newsletter and communicate. Eventually you will find
your success.

Infopreneurship - The Next Big Thing

Infopreneurship - The Next Big Thing
Copyright 2006 Jason Chew

So You Want to Be An Infopreneur? Do You know what an
infopreneur is? An infopreneur is someone who is in
business to gather or disseminate electronic information.
To put it in simple words, he is someone who sells
information online (mainly through the Internet).
Infopreneurs explore the uncharted "blue oceans" of
internet business to define their niche markets.

In the wider sense, an infopreneur is an entrepreneur who
main media is the World Wide Web and main source of profits
are information products or services. Presently, more than
1 billion people around the globe are using the Internet.
Online retailing has become a booming business. On 2005,
the total online sales have reached US$89 billion. The
rapid growth of Internet and the vast business
opportunities that comes with it, has made many successful
infopreneurs. These infopreneurs are able to tap on the
Internet to reach out to the mass markets.

So How Can You Become An Infopreneur?

There are basically 3 ways to start you online business to
be an Infopreneur.
1.Sell Your Own Products
2.Sell Other People Products
3.Provide An Online Service

1.Sell Your Own Products

Everyone is an expert or good at something. That expertise
can generate tremendous income opportunities from
information products.

To be a successful infopreneur, you need to think of things
that you know alot that others do not know and are dying
for them. This will be your niche market that is rabid
market for you information products. The information
products can be on your interest/hobbies, money, investing,
debts, or even internet marketing to name a few. You can
also search the web for buzz or things that recently
generate a huge following. To create your own information
products required a lot of work. If you do not have the
time or little knowledge of product creation you can
outsource your creation process to others and concentrate
on the selling or marketing your information products.

2.Sell Other People's Products

Selling other people's products means that you have to be
an affiliate to the merchants/vendors or be a direct
marketer of the information products. To be an affiliate
means that you have to join the merchants' program and
direct your prospects to their product to make the sales.
To be a direct marketer, you need to purchase information
products with resale or master resale rights and sell them
on your own website. Sometimes it is easier to sell a
proven product then to create your own. These products
would usually receive some publicity, proven that they
really work and results in some sales.

3.Provide An Online Service

In this Information Age, the Internet is about saving time
as well as saving money. Online Services provide people the
ease of accessing certain information and flexibility to do
things faster or might not be possible in real life. Such
services include online chat/messenger services, search
engines, online banking services, online stock trading
services, membership site, etc. You no need to crack your
head to think of some online services. A better way is to
do a search in the search engines to sell what people are
looking for and try to provide a service to compliment it.

Internet is an innovation that has enabled us to do a lot
of things which are not possible previously. Our lifestyle
and habits have undergo tremendous changes since its
invention. On average, 3 out of 4 American adults surf the
web regularly. With number of Internet users reaching more
than 1 billion users and increasing rapidly every year,
there are a lot of untapped "blue oceans" in Internet for
us to harvests. So, it's time to start to ride the wave of
the Information Age to be an Infoprenuer.

Fw: Article From SubmitYOURArticle: How toGet Your Home Based Business Online in 7 Days or Less, Part I

How to Get Your Home Based Business Online in 7 Days or Less, Part I
Copyright 2006 Monique Hawkins

Once a home based business owner has decided on a niche
they will target for their business, the next step is to
get it online as quickly as possible. The good news is,
this does not have to be a time consuming process. However,
before one starts, keep these few concepts in mind:

1. Don't worry about perfection. Testing and tweaking will
have to be done so that your marketing campaign is done
right. You want to make sure you test what works so that
the same mistakes aren't constantly made. Testing has to be
done if any online home-based business will see any kind of
profit.

2. Don't spend tons of money on advertising until things
start converting! Learn from small windfalls and use the
profits to fund marketing.

3. Don't create another job for yourself. You want to be
sure you get things set up correctly from the start in
order to create multiple streams of income. This will allow
you to leverage your time. Get things automated as much as
possible as this helps tremendously with the time factor.

4. Invest in education. Keep updated on current events in
the marketing world. Attend seminars, purchase ebooks, and
listen to teleseminars. You don't have to spend thousands
of dollars, but do allot some money for investing in your
mind.

5. Don't have the get rich quick mentality. For any
business, it takes time and effort to develop and be
successful. This won't happen overnight!

Now, we are ready to start getting your business online
quickly. Let's get going with Day 1.

Day 1: Register a domain name and get a hosting account.
Make sure you have made a list of the keywords you want to
target for your online home business. Remember to use tools
such as Wordtracker, Good Keywords, Google's Sandbox Tool,
or others to create a keyword list.

Once you have your list, it's time to register a domain
name. Godaddy is good because its inexpensive, makes domain
management easy, and offers free forwarding and domain
parking. Of course, there are others for you to check out
as well such as hostway.com and networksolutions.com. You
can also go to Google and type in "domain registration" and
many more options will come up. What you want to do is to
search for available domains using the most profitable
keywords.

After you have registered a domain name, you will need to
find a good hosting account. Be aware that hosting can go
from zero cost to hundreds of dollars per month. Here are a
few important things to remember when host searching:

1. Make sure it is reasonably priced. You don't need to pay
over $20 per month.

2. Make sure it allows you to have full FTP Access. This
means you are able to transfer files from your computer to
the server.

3. Make sure there is enough server space. This is the
amount of space your web sites take up on the server. Most
websites don't take up much and don't have more than a few
MB's of space.

4. Email Accounts: The hosting company should allow for at
least 5 POP email accounts. These are just a few things to
consider when host hunting.

Day 2 and 3: Website Design and Content

The important point to remember for day 2 and 3 is to keep
it simple! This is especially important if you are selling
an ebook. You will need a good headline that will grab
visitor's attention quickly. You will also need to connect
with them and show them you have the best answers to their
particular problem. It does not have to take pages and
pages for this. A few pages are really all that is needed.
If you feel writing sales copy is too overwhelming, you can
always outsource the project and post it on a site such as
elance.com.

Getting a niche home based business online does not have to
difficult or time consuming. It can be done quickly and
easily. Follow the above steps and get started today.

Get Targeted Traffic using Google Adwords

Get Targeted Traffic using Google Adwords
Copyright 2006 Joshua Spaulding

With traffic comes a potential customer which basically
means sales which in turn means profit. While many sites
have collapsed in the past with the downturn of many
internet based business, many smaller sites have generated
good money by concentrating on a certain niche and some
subniches.

This is a reason why e-commerce sites laser target certain
groups of people and drive them to their site to showcase
their sites and products. Precision marketing is essential
so that you could count on all the traffic on your site as
potential customers.

Using Money to Make Money

It's a common business notion that if you want to make
money, you have to spend money. One good way of spending
money for business gain is through advertising. Advertising
brings in the people because through advertising, they know
that there is such a company or product in existence. With
the right type of advertising, you can see the spurt of
traffic growth to your site. With a high volume of traffic,
even if only a small portion or percentage turns out to be
buying customers it is still a good average of profit
generating income.

Right now, there is no other advertising scheme that would
be worth every cent than using Google's Adwords. The surge
in popularity of Google's Adwords is very evident as you
can see so many sites sporting this ad scheme.

In using Google's Adwords, you pay a certain fee depending
on the number of keywords your ad is keyword sensitive to.
Each time a person does a search in Google, the keyword or
keywords use generate ads in the side of Google which are
generated by the keywords they have assigned for their ads.

This method laser targets the traffic a site wants for
their site. This also ensures that you are readily visible
in the first page of a search result. Paying Google for
this ad scheme ensures that your target group of people
sees your ads. You drive your laser targeted traffic to
your site which provides for their needs and wants. You can
also be sure that you can meet their demands and needs.

Aside from Google, you can also be featured in their other
search networks, these includes sites like, AskJeeves, AOL
Search and Netscape. These sites also show Adwords ads that
react to searches done by visitors. There are also content
networks, non-search engine sites that feature Google
Adwords, which will also carry your ads. But this is
subjected to the niche the site features. Your chosen
keywords will determine which content network shall feature
your ad. The frequency of your ad shall also be determined
by your allowed budget.

Laser Targeting your Traffic

To get a good number or estimate of the traffic to buying
customer ratio it is good to laser target your traffic.
Knowing that your traffic are all potential customers and
are interested in your products and company provides you
with a more accurate statistics. This will show you how
effective your utilizing of Google Adwords is.

Drive laser targeted traffic to your site by using keywords
or keyword phrases for your Goggle Adwords that pertains to
your company and to your products. There are many online
internet tools that can help you in choosing keywords and
keyword phrases that are currently in demand that could
help drive laser targeted traffic to your site.

With your Google Adwords ad, you are ensured that every
click to your ad is a potential customer that is precisely
looking pr interested in what you have to offer. Make sure
that your Google Adwords ad has the right keywords so that
you can drive you're laser targeted traffic to your site.

Using Google Adwords to help boost the drive to increase
laser targeted traffic will prove to be very beneficial as
many other companies can attest to. The benefits are high
with the cost relatively justifiable.

How To Get More Traffic

How To Get More Traffic
Copyright 2006 Patric Chan

Are you using Paypal, 2Checkout.com or Clickbank.com to
accept credit card payments right now?

Wait. If you don't have a product to sell yet, please
continue to read this article because it'll help you in the
future.

I use 3 of them ... but for different strategies depending
on what I want to accomplish.

What most people did not realize is that, selecting certain
credit card processing company can bring in more traffic to
their website. I'll explain ...

I use Clickbank.com for my online niche sites because I
want to leverage on getting affiliates to generate free
traffic for me.

Because of the brand, Clickbank.com is ALREADY well-known
by many affiliate marketers as the "goto" place to find
good products to promote.

Wham. You get free traffic.

See how selecting the company that collects your credit
card payments can effectively increase your website traffic
WITHOUT you doing anything else?

Yeah, Clickbank's fee is higher than most of the other
companies. For me, I can't be bothered much about this
minor 'lost'. I rather earn some money than NO MONEY at
all. Besides, you're leveraging on Clickbank.com's network
for free. That's very good.

Another example is 2Checkout. It has its own 'shopping
portal' at http://shop.2checkout.com/

You can get traffic from there as well if your product is
listed. I guess it'll work very well for tangible products
because of the images. Don't ask me who will go there to
buy, but people do buy from there.

It's hard to believe but I've received orders from
2Checkout's "shopping portal" before.

This small strategy can generate a lot of traffic for your
website if it works out as planned. If it doesn't, you
don't have to lose anything. I've been using a lot of
'hidden' strategies for my online businesses that have been
responsible for their success today.

You see, the 'problem' with most website owners face when
it comes to getting more traffic is that they are searching
for new ways.

There's nothing wrong with that but it's so much easier to
look for what are available in front of you.

Look around your online business. With a small tweak, you
can easily increase your website's traffic . like changing
the credit card payment system I've shared with you earlier.

When you're doing this, your main goal should be focused on
one-time effort but continuous results without actively
'maintaining' it because you want to spend your time to
look for more 'hidden' traffic techniques you can use
instantly.

10 Most Powerful Article Marketing Tips

10 Most Powerful Article Marketing Tips
Copyright 2006 Titus Hoskins

Great Houdini - this really works!

Never would have believed how writing some simple little
articles would put my website marketing into overdrive
until I tried it. These techniques worked for me, can't
imagine what they will do for someone who can actually
write!

If you haven't tried it, give it a go and see exactly what
article writing can do for your marketing efforts; you may
be pleasantly surprised. Just to give you some indication
how effective article marketing can be - type my name
"Titus Hoskins" with the quotes into Google. Most if not
all of these links come from article writing.

Here are 10 powerful article marketing tips you should
apply to all the articles you write. These ideas will help
you discover the real power behind article marketing.

1. Information, Information, Information

Don't ever forget, the major reason anyone is reading your
article is for the information. Make sure your articles
have at least some! The more timely, the better.

2. Keep It Short And Simple

Writing for the web and ezines is different than writing
for off-line publications. Keep your writing brief and
write in short paragraphs. Be concise. Be precise. Talk
directly to your reader and trim any unnecessary fat. Be
lean and meaningful.

3. Put Your Reader's Major Benefit In The Title

Always put your readers first, give them the main reason
they should read your article in big bold letters at the
top of the page, i.e. in the title.

4. Take Full Advantage Of Article Directories

Kick-start your articles by submitting them to popular
online article directories. These already have a large
clientele looking for your articles.

Here's my killer six:

www.ezinearticles.com www.goarticles.com
www.ideamarketers.com www.promotionworld.com
www.articlealley.com www.buzzle.com

5. Use Autoresponders For Your Articles

Set up all your articles on autoresponders. Have a Master
Autoresponder - listing all your articles. Automate your
genius.

6. Post Articles On Your Site

Place all your articles on your site. This builds trust and
creditability. Not to mention all that 'keyword drawn'
traffic from the search engines.

7. Use RSS Feeds To Syndicate Your Articles

Place your articles in RSS Feeds and syndicate them to all
interested parties. RSS is Hot! Google Blog Search.
Microsoft's RSS Powered Vista. XML Sitemaps...

8. Use Affiliates If You Have Them

Let your affiliates brand your articles with their
affiliate IDs and promote your articles for you. Win-win
situation. Harness and harvest your affiliates' energy.

9. Cross Reference Your Articles

Get more bang for your links. Place links to your other
articles in the article you're writing. If you're offering
helpful advice, most ezine editors and webmasters will let
you do this. Self-promote. Self-pollinate.

10. Place Your Articles In An eBook

Place your most popular articles in an ebook that can be
branded and passed around. A great viral technique that
works. Your greatest hits for all the world to enjoy, again
and again.

Happy writing - go get 'em!

Insiders Guide to a Work At Home Internet Business

Insiders Guide to a Work At Home Internet Business
Copyright 2006 Geoff Morris

Imagine all the hype you get from many of the so-called
'Internet Gurus' when you meet them at seminars,
conferences, or even as unsolicited emails popped into your
in-box.

Make money while you sleep; Work in your pajamas and make a
fortune; Just put this ebook up and sit back and watch the
avalanche of checks; Buy my product and you will be making
millions in months - I am sure you have seen all of this on
a regular basis.

Unfortunately, many of us - me included - get drawn into
this hype at first, and I bet you speak to any recently
started internet marketer and they will tell you similar
stories about how they bought everything that moved, have
bulging stock cupboards, and for 18 months to two years
earned virtually nothing at all.

Not that these 'gurus' are deliberately trying to take you
for a ride - many of them forget that you are a newbie, and
don't even understand many of the principles being preached
about. And many of them definitely can't do much 'hands on'
work themselves.

The other thing to realize, is that learning long-distance,
and in large groups, the quick get quicker, and the slow
loose their shirts!

There is really no substitute to getting a one-to-one slow
build up with a local coach - somebody you either know, or
know of from a reputation point of view. But, one-to-one
coaching is expensive, as there is no leverage of the
coach's time and difficult to get in many instances.

Most courses just seem to cater for large groups , at all
levels, and in many cases, in different time zones.

However, there is no getting away from the fact, that there
are tremendous opportunities here, both to expand an
existing 'off-line ' business, or to start a brand new one.

So - you have heard the warnings, are aware of the risks,
but you still want to set your own work at home-based
Internet business.

But wait - Do you have all it takes to make your work at
home-based Internet business a success?

Before you go ahead and take the plunge, it is important
that you answer a few questions first. This will help you
determine how prepared you are or what areas you need to
work on.

Have you done your planning?

Think of it this way: You definitely don't want your work
at home-based Internet business to be just a result of
impulse. There's too much at stake and the rewards and
failures are steep.

So, take the time to write out a mission statement. Too
many people embark on working on a home-based Internet
business without realizing that that is exactly what it is,
a business , and has to be treated as such.

Writing your business plan has far more added benefits than
simply devising a plan in your head.

For one, there's no way that you're going to forget it as
long as you keep the hard copy in a safe place.

Two, it's going to help you keep focused on your goals for
your work at home-based Internet business.

Three, planning your work at home-based Internet business
on paper can help you foresee any problems in the future.

Four, it can help you decide beforehand how you will deal
with these problems.

Five, you will need a well-written business plan for your
work at home-based Internet business since this is the
first paperwork that bankers and investors are going to ask
for before giving you your much needed capital.

Six . Bankers don't understand the internet, but they sure
as do understand a well-written business plan.

Bearing in mind what we have said earlier, are you being
realistic about your abilities related to your business?
Any business requires work, time, and money up front.

Too often, profits don't come that soon so it's important
that you are prepared for that reality.

As far as running your work at home-based Internet business
is concerned, ask yourself these questions:

Do you know everything that pertains to your product or
service? Does it interest or excite you? Success in work at
home-based Internet business is closer at hand if you
display the right attitude towards it.

As for being realistic, don't choose a work at home-based
Internet business that does not tap into your strengths.
You will have a very difficult time succeeding if your
business is not suited to your abilities in the first place.

Do you know where your start-up money is coming from? As
stated earlier, starting a work at home-based Internet
business needs start-up money.

There are going to be costs and you will need the funds to
cover those. You can start by borrowing money from other
people. Check out your local bank or ask your friends or
family to help you in your work at home endeavor.

Do you have the time to start and run this business? The
business of running a work at home-based Internet business
is demanding. Your time will be sorely needed, especially
when you're just starting out.

As such, you need to set priorities. Some less important
things may have to take a backseat while you concentrate on
making profits with your work at home-based Internet
business.

Yes, it's true that one of the supposed benefits of working
from home is flexibility of schedule.

Don't worry. You will have more flexible hours but when
you're first starting out, you will certainly be putting a
lot of overtime.

One thing that starting up such an activity does demand,
and that is FOCUS.

Unless you are used to it, the internet will rob you of
your time before you know where you are. You can get
embroiled in too many emails - delete or unsubscribe from
topics that are of no use to you TODAY - you can always
rejoin a list at a later date.

Don't make the mistake of OPP-HOPS ie hopping from one
seemingly good idea to another. Plan your route, stick to
it, and trust in the outcome (especially if working with a
Coach). You can always explore other avenues when you are
making a good income.

Process map everything. Why? Well, for one you don't want
to forget anything, and for another, as you grow, you may
well want to outsource some of the daily 'grind'.

Test everything you do. Ask yourself 'Why I am doing that?
' What am I expecting?'

Track all your adverts and articles, so you can see what is
and is not working for you.

Don't get despondent. Plan your route to success, and stick
to it. There are so many opportunities out there on the web
for a home based business of your own, that with careful
planning, a focussed approach, Oh - and mixing with
right-minded people, you will make a success of it.

Finding Your Home Business Opportunity

Finding Your Home Business Opportunity
Copyright 2006 Stephen Wright

For some people, it is for health issues (for yourself or a
loved one); for others it is a necessity to stay at home
with kids or loved ones; others find the expense and travel
time prohibitive (especially with the cost of gasoline
these days this one is getting more and more common). What
do these and millions of other people have in common? Each
find themselves in situations, most beyond their control,
which keep them from working a full time job outside the
home. The other thing they have in common is that each and
every one is potentially capable of turning this home-bound
time into profits and a full time income. Finding a home
business opportunity that fits you, your preferences, and
your unique needs is within your grasp. The internet makes
this possible, and from the comfort of your home or home
office.

The number of new business ventures on the internet is at
an all time high. However, as with traditional businesses,
unfortunately, more fail than succeed. Nonetheless, clearly
for many making money from a home based business online has
been a dream come true. The range and spectrum of
possibilities and topic areas is only limited by ones
imagination. Products of every variety and sort from
books, flowers, gifts, to internet marketing related
services are all available and waiting for you to explore
and develop.

A major concern of "newbies" into the arena of home
business is resisting the urge to invest or pay money to
every "get rich quick" program and opportunity that comes
along. Do your research. Look for references and
recommendations from others who have been through a startup
- preferably in your chosen field of endeavor. Ideally,
find and read every bit of free or low cost information and
ebook you can find about the topic areas you are interested
in. There is a ton of freebie information and forum
exchanges available that will at least get you past the
initial learning curve of getting your self set up for
making money online. There are some websites, such as
InternetMarketingUSA.com who even create a website for you,
completely free, providing training and instruction - all
as a part of a plug-in-profits business opportunity.

Like me, many web entrepreneurs prefer to focus of residual
income products (that is products that generate income and
revenues in smaller initial amounts, but continue to bring
in revenues over time). Others prefer to focus of specific
products developed by themselves or others for sales
revenues and profits. As a personal preference, I prefer a
healthy balance of both product and residual business
opportunities for sustained revenue growth.

With the continuing phenomenon of Google, many people are
making millions with pay-per-click (PPC) programs such as
Google and Yahoo business advertising. It is quite common
to find business ads on any given webpage. They resemble
billboards on any given site. Not only are they gaining
revenues in the form of advertising dollars, they bring in
potential buyers for traffic hungry sales website. At the
same time they also earn revenues for the website where the
ads were located. This is a multi-level income situation
that benefits everyone - especially Google who continues to
achieve record profits.

Informational products converted into the form known as
eBooks (electronic books) can also be very lucrative
products to sell on the internet. If you have a particular
gift, or special insight into most any topic or area of
expertise, you can write an ebook. Many people searching
the internet are more than willing to pay to gain the
insight and inside information about every topic under the
sun. You will be surprised at how easy it is to organize
and publish eBooks. And of course, even if you do not have
an area of expertise, there is a wealth of information
available on the internet that a few hours spent on solid
research and search investigation can make you an expert in
no time.

So there you have it. These are but a small few of the
hundreds of internet marketing ideas and solutions that are
possible. With a little bit of hard work, you can be on the
way to finding opportunities with your very own home based
business, generating profits and being an "internet
marketing guru" in no time.

Discover The Fast and Free Way To Create Numerous Content-Keyword Rich
AdSense Ads Web Site
Copyright 2006 Rose Mary

What is AdSense Ads? AdSense Ads is an advertising program
from Google. You may have noticed when you are reading a
webpage, there are little ads displaying at the various
parts of the web site. Beneath these Ads, there is a small
print written as "Ads serve by Google". These are
actually AdSense Ads. These AdSense Ads are paid by the
merchants to Google through a program called AdWords. These
AdSense Ads will only display relevant ads on the
particular web site. For example, if a site is on cars,
only ads about cars will be displayed. This makes the whole
web site relevant to the reader. This is a win-win
situation. The reader gets what he is looking for and the
advertiser provides the relevant information to the right
target market.

Much has been talked about making money with AdSense Ads.
Yes, this is indeed a relatively easy way to make money.
However, you must be registered with Goggle first to open
an AdSense account. You may go to the Google site for
registration information. After having an account, it is
time to put ads onto your web site. You need to have a
little technical knowledge to do it yourself. Assuming
that you have put the AdSense Ads on your web page, when
someone clicks on the AdSense Ads on your web site, you
will get paid for it. To put it in another way, you are
selling advertising space on your web site. How much will
you get paid per click? Well, this will depends on the
value on the value of the keyword. The range is rather
wide.

However, in order to make money from AdSense Ads, I bet you
know that you will need to create many, and really many,
many web sites. This is rather time and effort consuming.
If you don't believe me, you can try to create one for
yourself and see how much time you will need to complete a
proper web site with AdSense Ads. After creating the web
site, you will also need to use various methods to ensure
that your site have visitors. Other wise, no one will
click on your AdSense Ads and you get nothing for all the
hard work you have done. But the good news is that,
currently, there are softwares that can greatly reduce this
effort. The software will create your desired web site
with your AdSense code embedded into it. Best of all,
the software has the capability to put in relevant
affiliate products into the same web site as well. This is
double gain. Your will make money from the AdSense Ads as
well as affiliate product if the user chose to buy. The
ultimate point here is, you can get the software for free.
Yes, it is free for use with no obligation to purchase.
You are encouraged to download a copy to try it out. You
do not need to buy anything.

We have move rapidly into the internet age where automation
is the key to success and compete. Creating one web site
with AdSense Ads one at the time is rather time and effort
consuming. . In order to earn better and faster income from
this source, you will need tools to help you to move ahead
fast. Automation is the key. Good news is that, this
resource is provided to you free of charge. Do not lack
behind in this technology. Please download a copy and test

How To Earn Money From Your Web Site Or Blog

How To Earn Money From Your Web Site Or Blog
Copyright 2006 Titus Hoskins

One of the most often asked questions from novice
webmasters is: How do I monetize my site? How do I earn an
income from my site or blog?

The solution is quite simple, yet the effectiveness (read
how much you will make) can be very complex and
complicated. There are so many factors involved, it is more
than just throwing a few banners or text ads on your site.
Factors that will greatly determine how much income you
will derive from your blogs or sites.

Maybe it is better to start from the very beginning, before
you even start to build your site or blog. The first factor
you have to realize - the Internet is run by search
engines. There are exceptions but for the most part the
search engines will determine how many visitors your site
will receive.

And to simplify things further, by search engines read
Google. Mainly because Google will deliver the majority of
your traffic. MSN and Yahoo will deliver traffic but not in
the numbers Google will.

Next, while the Internet is run by these search engines,
its powered by KEYWORDS. Understand this fact fully, and
your life as a struggling webmaster will be over.

Keywords and keyword phrases are what people place in the
search engines when they're searching for information or
searching for a product to buy. Obviously, keywords are the
source of your online income, they're the building blocks
of any income from your site. Therefore, you have to choose
your keywords carefully. You need ones that people are
using and searching for on the web.

Use resources like Wordtracker.com or Overture.com to find
the best keywords. One excellent resource is
www.nichebot.com - it will not only give you the number of
searches made for any given keyword but it will also give
you the ratio of numbers of sites to exact keyword phrases,
i.e. it will give you the amount of competition for your
keywords. You can proceed or act accordingly. The lower the
ratio, the better chance you have of placing your site on
the first page SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages).

Getting on those pages will be your first step in really
monetizing your site or blog. You can do yourself a big
favor by placing your main keyword phrase in the title of
your Domain. For example, if you have a site on Gaming
Laptops - place those keywords somewhere in the title of
your site or blog.

In your content or webpages always construct or create
pages around keywords that have a product attached. For
example, if you have a page entitled 'Best Gaming Laptops',
more than likely your visitors will be searching for the
best gaming laptops to buy. Monetizing your site will then
only be a matter of finding affiliate programs to match
this keyword phrase. (High end gaming Laptop
Manufacturers). Or placing Google Adsense text or image ads
on this page. Another popular alternative to Adsense is the
new upstart - Chitika eMiniMalls,
interactive/search/product review banner ads.

Another good strategy is to pick affiliate products that
are high paying where just one click can result in $100 or
more. Where to find these affiliate products? Some top
general affiliate programs are Amazon, Commission Junction,
LinkShare, Clickbank -- all these reputable programs lists
thousands of products that sell well online. These programs
will also send your checks out on time!

Once you have this simple system worked out: high searched
for keyword + low ratio competition + matching affiliate
link or banner = $$$

You will be well on your way to monetizing your site or
blog. Look for popular unexplored niche areas for your
content or webpages and you will increase your earnings.
Try out different keywords and see which ones develop into
an income stream on your site. Explore the successful ones
with variations of your main keyword. Example, 'Gaming
Laptops UK'. Then get affiliate products to match these
variant keyword phrases.

It is a simple formula you can follow time and time again,
with all your keywords.

There are countless ways to monetize your site or blog, but
trying the system described above will give you a
head-start on your competition. Perfect this system and you
will be on your way to becoming one of those much talked
about success stories on the web. Better yet, you can
remain totally anonymous, and quietly earn an income from
your webpages day after day. Keep everyone guessing and
wondering just what's putting that smile on your face?

Three Different Ways Of Getting A WordPress Blog Up And Running

Three Different Ways Of Getting A WordPress Blog Up And Running
Copyright 2006 Roger Loh

The purpose of this article is to outline three different
ways of getting a WordPress blog up and running. WordPress
is a free blogging software, has many benefits and is
supported by a large community of users and developers.

A "blog" is abbreviated from the term, "web log" which is a
form of online diary or journal.

Since its advent a few short years ago, blogs have found
numerous uses. Just to name a few, these include:

- teenagers putting their thoughts and ramblings online

- hobbyists giving updates about their interests and passion

- people staying updated with friends overseas

- professional bloggers updating specific niche products

- multinational corporations (MNC's) such as Microsoft &
General Motors using blogs as marketing tool

Like a web site, a blog has global reach. However, it's
far cheaper, quicker and definitely easier to maintain a
blog than a traditional web site. A blog's contents can be
easily updated by submitting short or long articles
(commonly known as blog posts) through an easy-to-use
graphical interface. As a blog's content is updated
regularly, they naturally attract both human readers as
well as search engines hungry for fresh content.

To set up a blog, we need some form of blogging software or
platform. There are free software like Blogger and
WordPress and there are paid platforms like Moveable Type
and Typepad.

Blogger is owned by Google. It's free and perhaps the
easiest way to create a blog and your first post, literally
within minutes! Howeer, its features are somewhat limited.

Thus, WordPress is a good alternative if you are looking
for free blogging software. As it is an open source
software, it is literally supported by a huge community of
users and developers that assists both new and experienced
bloggers. Not only feature rich - it supports categories,
pages and trackbacks, just to name a few - it is constantly
being updated through its core software as well as through
software plugin's which are bonus software components that
extend the basic functionality of WordPress. For more
information, visit WordPress.org

Here are 3 different ways to get a WordPress blog up and
running:

1) Via WordPress.com

2) Via WordPress.org

3) Via CPANEL's Fantastico

VIA WORDPRESS.COM

Like Blogger, you can get your WordPress blog and first
post up and running within several minutes through
WordPress.com! This site is meant for people to get a taste
of WordPress without having to go through the somewhat
involved procedure via WordPress.org (see the section
below). If this is the first time you are getting your
WordPress blog up and running, you should definitely give
this a shot.

It's as easy as going to WordPress.com, clicking the button
that says "Get a WordPress Blog Now>>" or something like
that and following the directions there. And then, you
start posting!

In this case, your WordPress blog will be hosted on
WordPress.com totally free. Therefore, you do not need
your own web host. The only drawback is that there are
limitations such as you can't install your own themes or
plugin's.

VIA WORDPRESS.ORG

Instead of having your blog hosted on WordPress.com, you
can install WordPress on your own web host. (Of course, in
this case, you need to have your own web hosting account
which preferably comes with a version of "CPANEL" - a an
easy-to-use graphical control panel to manage your web
host.)

Setting up of the WordPress blog comprises the 3 main steps
below.

Step 1: Visit WordPress.org and download the WordPress
installation files which are free (since it is open source
software as mentioned before). As the files are in a
compressed format, run your compression utility (such as
Winzip) to expand the files to your hard disk..

Step 2: Run your File Transfer Protocol (FTP) program and
connect to your web hosting account. Then upload the
installation files to the domain (if you have multiple
domains hosted) and folder that you want your WordPress
blog installed.

Step 3: This step is going to be challenging for the
non-techie type if they managed to survive Step 2! You log
into the CPANEL of your web host and create and configure
your MYSQL database. After this is done, you need to
configure some files to complete your installation.

Next, launch your browser to access your blog and start
making your 1st post by running the "wp-admin.php" script
that has been installed.

As you can see, this is the "normal" but very tedious way
of setting up of your WordPress blog.

However, the effort you expend is worthwhile as you can
configure all aspects of WordPress like installing the
theme you like and adding HTML codes to include Google
AdSense on your blog to earn some profit, etc.

VIA FANTASTICO

Again, you install WordPress on your own web host but this
time through FANTASTICO. In this case, not only would you
need to have your own web hosting account, it MUST come
with a version of "CPANEL" that includes "FANTASTICO" - an
advanced script installer that automates a 1-click
WordPress installation! (Actually a few clicks are needed.)

With FANTASTICO, all the 3 steps above are automated for
you. All you need to do is to log into the CPANEL of your
web host and then click the FANTASTICO icon, which is a
smiley face.

In the next screen, click on "WordPress" and then click on
"New Installation". FANTASTICO will open a form and you
fill in a few things like which domain (if you have
multiple domains hosted) and which folder to install to.
Once you have typed in the information and pushed a button,
FANTASTICO will install WordPress in a few seconds!

How is that possible? That's because the installation
files are already at your web host. This saves you time as
you don't have to download them from WordPress.org, expand
them and upload to your web host. Likewise, the databas is
also automatically created and configured for you.

Next, launch your browser to access your blog and start
making your 1st post by running the "wp-admin.php" script
that has been installed.

As you can see, this is the "preferred" method of getting a
WordPress blog up and running, also within minutes.and yet
you can have all the benefits of configuring all aspects of
WordPress, such as adding Affiliate Programs easily
(including Amazon.com) and Google AdSense to make a
handsome profit month after month!

Internet Marketing Buyers Beware

Internet Marketing Buyers Beware
Copyright 2006 Willie Crawford

One of the saddest things I've witnessed in personally
consulting with literally hundreds of people, is someone
attempting to start an online business with a virtually
useless product. These are usually people trying to sell
outdated products that are generally available for free
from hundreds (if not thousands) of other websites.

I see the above far too often. Here are two ways that I've
seen this happen:

1) Someone, often a newbie, buys a set of reprint or
resale rights from a long copy sales page. This page does
such a great job of selling the package that the prospect
can see setting up dozens of sites and "making millions."

The newbie buys the package, picks out a few products that
look promising, and begins setting up websites for each.
Shortly afterwards is where I often come into the picture,
as these webmasters often approach me for help in getting
more sales. They are perplexed as to why they haven't made
even a single sale.

I often take a quick look and instantly identify the
problem. The product is often "older than dirt" and
available all over the internet for free. At other times,
the product is not outdated, but is available on dozens of
other sites at a much lower price. In the latter case, the
webmaster is trying to sell the product at the price that
was listed on the sales page where the bundle of products
was described. This would work if it weren't for the fact
that MOST of the other people who bought rights to the
product were selling it much cheaper, or even using it as
a freebie to get new subscribers.

2) A relative newbie buys a package containing dozens of
"web businesses-in-a-box." These are complete packages
containing a ready-to-go website and a product (usually
software or an ebook). Often these ready-to- go packages
are comprised of outdated products that countless other
people are GIVING away.

How do you avoid the two situations described above?
There's a Latin expression - "caveat emptor." It means
"let the buyer beware." It means that it's the buyer's
responsibility to know what he's buying.

Does this mean that you shouldn't buy these packages of
reprint and resale rights? No, it just means that you need
to know what you are buying. You also need to know how to
properly market it. I've made a small fortune from buying,
repackaging, and then reselling reprint rights, resale
rights and private label rights.

My secret is that when I buy one of these packages, I go
through and look for items that I can combine in different
ways. I look for gems within these packages that weren't
even emphasized on the sales page, but that I know many of
my customers would get a lot of use out of. I look for
items that I can add to other packages I'm already
selling... to breathe new life into an old sales page or
add more value to my offerings.

As an example, I once purchased a resale rights package
that included 38 PDF cookbooks. I added these cookbooks to
the sales page for my soul food cookbook that I was already
selling (as a time limited bonus). This increased my sales
for that cookbook substantially while adding practically
nothing to the cost of delivering the basic product. If
you'd like to see that example in action, check out my
sales page at: http://Chitterlings.com/cookbook.html

Another one of my secrets is that I buy private label
rights and source code, modify these, and come up with new
products at a very low cost. I've done this with over a
dozen ebooks, and with several software titles that I
currently market. This gives you your own unique product
at a very low cost.

The final thing that you MUST do is not overpay for these
reprint and resale rights. You WILL find lots of
marketable gems in these packages. You can market these as
parts of new packages, or as stand alone products.
However, you do want to minimize your initial investment.

You can actually find packages containing literally
thousands of dollars in reprint and resale rights for under
$100. You can even find these bargains for under $50. An
example, is the Kick Start Mega Sale, conducted to raise
funds for building a homeless shelter. Here you can get a
package worth over $4000 for pennies on the dollar. This
package is available for a very limited time at:
http://kickstartmegasale.com/ks/?ksa=2

You CAN set up an online info-marketing business and do
extremely well. The whole key is to get started with the
right product... one with some real value. The whole key
there is to do your due diligence, and to be aware of the
traps. Now, you need never fall victim to the horror
stories that we opened this article with. Feel free to
pass this article on and to help spread the word.

----------------------------------------------------
Willie Crawford has been marketing and teaching on the
Internet since late-1996. One of the most unusual
projects he helped orchestrate involved using an
Internet "fire sale" to fund the launching of a television
show, and building of a homeless shelter. Read about
that at: http://kickstartmegasale.com/ks/?ksa=2

Blogging - A Guide for Beginners

Blogging - A Guide for Beginners
Copyright 2006 Joshua Spaulding

Instead of writing text, some bloggers choose to make their
blogs more audio friendly by using spoken word entries,
this is called audio blogging.

Basically a blog contains the following features:

Title - This allows you to label your post.
Body - This is the content of your post.
Trackback - Other sites can be linked back to your blog.
Permanent Link - Every article that you write has a URL.
Comments - This allow readers to post comments on your blog.

One of the advantages of blogging is that it is made of
only a few templates, unlike other websites that are made
up of numerous individual pages. This makes it easier for
blog users to create new pages, because it already has a
fixed setting that includes: slots for title, body of the
post, category, etc.

This is especially useful for first time users, since they
can start blogging right away. They can choose from a
number of templates that blogging websites provide.

Anyone who wants to start a blog can do so by becoming a
member of a blogging website of their choice. Once they've
become members, they automatically become a part of that
particular blogging community. They can browse through
other bloggers pages and link them back to their own blogs.
They can also make comments on other members' blogs.

Blogging is not just limited to personal usage. There are a
lot of blogs that follow a theme such as: sports, politics,
philosophy, social commentary, etc. These blogs espouse on
their specific themes. This way blogging becomes a medium
in which people can share their knowledge and opinions
about a variety of themes and topics.

Some bloggers even use their blogs as a means to advertise.
Some authors advertise their books on their blogs, while
other bloggers use their blogs to shed light to currents
issues, events, news and catastrophes.

Nowadays in education, blogs also play an important part.
Professors use blogging to document the lessons that they
have discussed and taught, this way students who have
missed classes can easily catch up with their assignments.

A lot of entrepreneurs benefit from blogging by promoting
their businesses on their blogs, with millions and millions
of people logging onto the net everyday, blogging has
become a lucrative move. Some bloggers who run online
businesses promote their merchandise online, while others
profit through advertisement.

The most popular blog type, by far, is the one that takes
the form of a personal journal. This is the kind that is
usually used by first time bloggers. Individuals who want
to document the daily struggle of their everyday lives,
poems, rants, and opinions find that blogging offers them a
medium in which to express themselves.

Bloggers usually communicate within themselves. This is one
of the appeals of blogging. It creates a community of
people sharing their ideas, thoughts and comments with each
other.

Blogs varying in topics, themes and set-ups can be found in
blog directories. First time users who want to get an idea
of what the blogging world is all about can browse through
a number of blogs using these directories. This way they'd
get an idea of what these blogging communities are like.

Blogging is popular all over the world. Blog is short for
the term WebLog. There are no rules when it comes to
blogging. Bloggers have the freedom to express themselves
how ever way they want and the best thing about blogging is
that most blogging sites are free.

There are numerous blogging websites to choose from on the
net giving first time users the option to join a blogging
community that appeals to their interests.

Just search any blogging directory and you'll get a listing
of a lot of blogging sites that are available on the net.
It's easy to search a blogging directory, because it is
organized according to category. This way you can get
exactly what you are after. Blogging is really for
everyone, it is fun, simple and easy.

Choosing The Right Home Based Internet Business

Choosing The Right Home Based Internet Business
Copyright 2006 Donovan Baldwin

Opportunities to start your own business used to divide
themselves into two basic classes. The opportunity was
either a home based business, or you set up a
brick-and-mortar business. For years, there was a core of
home business standbys such as Avon, Tupperware, Fuller
Brush, and Mary Kay. In those days, the men had the jobs,
and the women were looking for a way to make money part
time. Gradually, as the work force expanded, other
industries got the idea, and organizations such as Amsoil
synthetic motor oils, began to make their appearances.
Over time, and with the rise of Amway, the home based
business gained in apparent legitimacy and people from all
walks of life began to chase the dream of, if not being
filthy rich, then at least being able to fire their boss
and work on their schedule.

Unfortunately, con artists and businesses that should have
not been unleashed on an unsuspecting public got wind of
this and realized that, for many, the product or service
provided was not as important as the chance to make
money...lots of money!

Today, even well-meaning, well-governed companies with
excellent products sometimes use the lure of "easy money"
as their main enticement into their particular home based
business. This IS the lure that will attract many, and, in
that it is so easy and they fell for it themselves, many
who sign up with these companies also use the promise of
potential wealth as their main marketing tool in the muddy
waters of recruiting. They are not completely to blame for
this. Obviously, they would not lean so heavily upon the
claim if it was not successful in luring those who believe
that picking the "right" home business will make them
rich...overnight!

With the advent of the internet, a whole new world,
literally, of opportunities has come to light. All that
was available before as a home business opportunity is now
available as a home based internet business opportunity.
While many old reliables have adapted and now have at least
minimal online programs, the old scammers and borderline
businesses have come with them. In fact, the internet now
provides so many so-called, and real, business
opportunities that finding an honest, genuine, reliable
opportunity can seem daunting to the beginner.

Therefore, we are going to review a few points that someone
hoping to start a home based internet business should
consider.

1. Know thyself. Despite the claims, home businesses,
worked in your pajamas as I am at this moment, require work
and dedication. It is Sunday morning, and I worked every
day last week. Some days I only worked two hours, but I
have committed every day last week to my home based
internet business.

The upside is that I worked less than 40 hours, I worked at
home, I started and stopped when I felt like it, and I
occasionally chose to work on things just because that's
what I felt like doing at the moment. Also, I have
achieved a personal point in my online business activities
that I can knock off for a few days without present
business suffering. You will have to work to grow your
business, especially at first, and if you are not willing
to do the work...don't start.

2. Know thyself part two. An important factor for success
for many people is going to be how well they mesh with the
business they have chosen. The more knowledge of and
interest in that business that you have within your being,
the more likely you are to succeed. My first truly
successful home based internet business came to fruition
when I selected a product that I truly believed in, a
company that I had respect for, a service that I knew
something about, and which fulfilled one of my own needs so
completely that I had no problem enthusiastically singing
its praises.

Notice that "love of money" was not found it that list.
When I first became involved in network marketing, internet
marketing, and multi-level marketing, I failed miserably.
In every instance, I chose business opportunities based on
the excitement of greed and with a get-rich-quick mentality
rather than the excitement of being able to share a great
opportunity and product with others who could use its
benefits.

3. Know the industry. This is an important point. Please
understand, I do not mean to imply that you must be
intimately knowledgeable in this area, but you cannot be
totally ignorant either. It will be easier to assimilate
knowledge if you already have at least SOME interest in,
and awareness of, the company's area of action. If, for
example, you decide to sell a health related product but
are not the least bit aware of, or interested in, your own
health or that of other people, you are going to have
difficulty succeeding.

On the other hand, if you encounter a product that you
don't know that much about, but it has worked well for you
and it is obvious how the lives of others could be improved
by the product or service, then you have a good start on
the knowledge base you need. You will be able to promote
THAT product with vigor because you know how it works, and
you know that it DOES work.

4. Know the company. Almost any reputable business which
offers these types of business opportunities will charge a
registration fee. These payments may range from a few
dollars to several hundred. Due to the wide range of
companies involved and the differences in their support
packages, it is difficult to compare one to the other.
Some of these entitle you to various levels of support, a
professionally designed website, promotional materials, or
differing levels of potential income. This is NOT an
unrealistic demand when you consider the expenses involved
in dealing with all the inquiries and demand for support a
good company might expect to receive from what is generally
a large group of tire-kickers.

No offense intended, but most people who ask for
information will not sign up, and only a few of those who
sign up will actually get down to business and do the WORK
necessary to grow their new home based internet business.

As with anything that offers to take your money, YOU should
take the time to find out if the company you are dealing
with has a reputation for honesty and integrity. How long
has it been in business? What kind of support and
promotional materials can you expect to receive for your
hard-earned money? Will you get a website? What does it
look like? Will the website take orders for you? If I
seem to be leaning heavily on the internet aspect, it is
because a professionally designed website that does the
selling and processes the orders can, by itself, be worth
the money you pay the company to register for their
services.

Just as an aside, even the best company-provided websites
are often not very search engine friendly. Many new
marketers take a look at their fantastic new site, submit
the link to a few search engines and believe that's the end
of their internet marketing program. Even the most fully
search engine optimized site will not be successful without
some actual internet marketing going on in the background.
Learning this side of the business is part of the homework
you will have to assign yourself and complete if you desire
to be successful. This goes back to item #1 above. If you
are not willing to do the work, the work that MUST be done,
will NOT be done. You are the owner, but you are also the
staff, and you must assign your staff reality based
missions, and your staff must satisfy the boss (you) by
diligent performance.

In the final analysis, we are all different, and there is
no way that any one home based internet business
opportunity will satisfy everyone. I know a man who became
a millionaire with a multi-level marketing business. When
I asked if he was interested in joining me in a telecom
opportunity (which I had joined because I wanted to make
money), he declined, saying that he just did not enjoy
working with those sorts of businesses and had never made
any money with them. Neither did I.

Look inside and be true to who you are. Join yourself to
an honest, reputable company that you understand and whose
products you respect, and then get out there and work, and
you have a chance to build a successful home based internet
business.
